Am I On Mars? — We're here to help
Having trouble with Am I On Mars? Here are answers to common questions, plus how to reach us directly.
Am I On Mars? uses your device's accelerometer to detect gravity, which is not available on iPads or devices without motion hardware. Make sure you're running the app on an iPhone.
Make sure you've granted motion access. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Motion & Fitness and enable access for Am I On Mars?. Then relaunch the app.
Hold your phone still and flat for a few seconds — the app samples accelerometer readings in batches, so it needs a moment of steady data to give an accurate result. Movement or vibration can affect the reading.
Tap Explore Gravity from the main screen to visit every planet and moon in the solar system. Each page shows you how high a person would jump under that body's gravity — with a physics-accurate simulation.
